Funzalo Entertainment (Funzalo Records, Mike’s Artist Mgmt., Funzalo Publishing) announces a new service aimed at helping developing artists reach the next level of their careers.  Funzalo Entertainment Marketing and Management Services is a consulting service that tailors each campaign to the needs of artists, managers or labels who need assistance reaching press, radio, film & TV supervisors, etc., and helps them to build a strong foundation for their music and image.

“Overall, this is way to create a grass roots awareness of an artist who needs to (re)build a strong fan base, reconnect with a previous audience, or has no foundation of “indie cred” (whatever that means today).  We can take what your artist(s) have done regionally and expand upon it. At this point, the building up of the bottom end gives you a foundation to build a solid career,” says owner/president, Mike Lembo.

A grass roots approach is necessary for building up any artist(s) profile.  We have an excellent list of radio stations, national press,  indie bloggers, smaller regional press, “off the beaten path” publications, etc – which need to be worked in a logical manner for your artist.  It is crucial to reach the people who buy music – putting ads in trades (i.e. Billboard, etc) will only reach those who get free goods.
